Devon focuses on advising startup companies, having worked with numerous companies both big in both New York City and Philadelphia. He graduated from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia in 2015, with a concentration in business and entrepreneurial law. He is licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey.
Devon began working in Manhattan in August, 2015, where he was the junior corporate attorney at Happy Rock Merchant Solutions, handling fully the company’s contract drafting and negotiation workload, as well as handling all UCC filings, and commercial finance compliance.
In April 2016, Devon became the General Counsel and Administrative Director of RealAssets Corporation, a technology driven real estate investment manager. Devon handled all of the company’s SEC compliance (Broker-Dealer and Investment Advisor compliance), as well as drafting the company’s incorporation documents, funding documents, and employment documents. Devon also designed the company’s website and was part of its marketing efforts.
While in law school, Devon was the President of Drexel’s Transactional Law Team, and was part of the team that placed first in LawMeet’s NorthEast region in both drafting and negotiating an asset purchase agreement representing a family owned business. During law school he also interned at a private equity firm that specialized in specialty chemical companies, an angel investment firm, and an international energy company.
